A belated Happy New Year to all, though somehow we are an 1/8th of the way through the year already! This is a small update with more to come later in the year.

New Items

I was hoping to have a few more things to release at this point but there are a couple of new items that have been added to the list. I still haven’t written the instructions for the promised 1930s Class A tank wagon kits so they will appear next time.

The range of 4mm continental style wagon fittings has grown by one as I now have UIC swing link springs with oil axleboxes for the BR 1/055 Ferry Opens available (PFZ.08UICFO – £4 for a set of 4). These were fitted when those wagons were built and some carried them into the 1980s despite roller bearings appearing on many.

In S Scale the 17’6″ x 10′ LNER clasp brake underframe makes an appearance (SB.61 – £24). These are similar to the 4mm underframe B.61 for vans, opens, etc, but includes both RCH and BR axleguards.

Special Etches Catalogue

I have decided to withdraw the Special Etches catalogue as I no longer feel it is necessary. The items it contained have been returned to the main list and will be available individually again.

Postage

With the ever incresing cost of sending items in the UK I have decided to start sending orders out by second class post rather than increasing my prices at this time. This will be kept under review.

Exhibitions

Rumney Models is booked to appear at Scalefour Crewe on June 8th/9th and also at Scalefourm in High Wycombe on September 21st/22nd. I will look forward to seeing some of you there.
