The following are all items available in 7mm scale.
United Dairies GWR/SR Milk Tank Platforms
Redrawn and resized from the 4mm scale artwork and etched on 0.016” brass. These are not just straight enlargements. All are etch only.
These are to the same spec as the 4mm version and will make up a pair of the distinctive platforms fitted to United Dairies GWR Diagram O.39, O.51, O.57 and O.60 and SR diagram 3155 and 3157 milk tanks.
These replicate the prototype in close detail. Alternative fixing brackets for the GWR and SR vehicles are included. There are three platforms on the etch, two right handed (the ladder of the right hand side as you look at it) and one left handed. The left handed version is just a mirror image of the right handed one. Almost all vehicles fitted with platform in the centre had right handed versions on both sides. The GWR O.57 and O.60 vehicles that had platforms fitted at one end had one right and one left handed version with the ladders towards the centre of the vehicle.
Lots of 0.5mm wire required to complete.

United Dairies/Unigate/Express Dairy Milk Tank Plates
In the 1950s many milk tanks were given plates, attached to the side of the tank, to comunicate which company owned the tank (the actual tanks on milk tank wagons were privately owned). They are the perfect finishing touch to your 7mm scale milk tank model!
The United Dairies and Express Dairy plates could be seen on wagons from the early 50s right through to the end of milk traffic in the 70s. Most United Dairies tanks would have recieived Unigate plates along with Aplin & Barett and Cow & Gate diagrams post 1959 (when the merger of United Dairies, Aplin & Barrett and Cow & Gate took place) but some never did.
The 7mm plates were redawn from my original artwork not the 4mm version. The price is per pair and they come already painted.

The numbers on the plates were the wagon numbers. I have etched plates with numbers for almost every Unigate diagram including: GWR O.38, O.39, O.44, O.45, O.47, O.51, O.52, O.55, O.56 O.57, O.58, O.60, O.63; SR 3155, 3157, 3159 & LMS 1992, 1994.

As fitted to large numbers of Express Dairy milk tanks.
7mm Express Dairy milk tank plate
The plates include both the company plate and the distinctive round number plate that was attached to the baulks at the tank ends. The numbers were Express Dairy’s own fleet numbers and were generally grouped according to who built the milk tank. If you want something specific then please inquire or else you will get a random number.
Wagon Detailing
For BR/LMS open wagons with corrugated steel ends. Both early and late types are included. Sufficient parts for two wagons. Wire for the bar is required.

A general purpose detailing fret. Includes 12’ brakegear, vees, brake levers, lifting links & two types of lever guards. Also 21T hopper door handles & end steps and mineral wagon door springs.
All the bits specific to the vacuum brakegear on 21T hoppers. Includes vacuum cylinder brackets, brake links and lamp irons.
Sprung Coach Bogie Subframe
Redrawn and resized from the 4mm scale artwork and etched on 0.016” brass. These are not just straight enlargements. Etch only.
- OE.02 8’6” BR Mk1 Commonwealth Coach Bogies – Widthdrawn
A fully sprung single bolster coach bogie in 7mm scale. Includes provision for 7mm finescale and Scale 7 wheelsets. Etch only. Sideframes are required.
