Ordering/Terms
All orders by email first please.
Payments can be made by the following means:
- Old fashioned snail mail and cheque or postal order made payable to ‘Justin Newitt’ (not Rumney Models) to the address below.
- Via email with payment via bank transfer. Bank account details will be supplied on submission of order.
- Via email with payment via Paypal. Please note that orders via Paypal will be subject to an additional charge of 4% for UK orders and 6% for overseas orders. If you wish to pay via Paypal please email me first and I will send you an invoice. Please do not send uninvoiced payments via Paypal!
Payment must be made in full in Pounds Stirling. I do not have the facility to take payment for mail orders via credit or debit cards.
Orders will be posted within 7 days of payment. Allowances may need to be made for Royal Mail. Please allow 28 days for delivery.
I am happy to take orders for items that are not in stock, but payment will not be asked for until I have the items. This excludes items in my special etches list where payment will still be needed before I order kits and I may ask for a deposit against large orders or large numbers of a single item.
I plan on ordering etches on, or just after, the following dates over the next twelve months:
2025 1st October, 1st December
2026 1st February, 1st April, 8th June, 1st August
Items not in stock or in my special etches list should be in stock approximately 1 month after the next above date after receipt of order.
Please use the price list (September 2025) and order form (September 2025) provided via the links below:

Order Form
The Special Order list has now been withdrawn. The etches that were in it have returned to the main lists and are available individually again.
Overseas Orders
I am very happy to process orders from outside the UK but please note that items are sent with correctly filled in customs forms. This means that “Sale of Goods” will be listed as the customs declaration catagory on the customs form and the corrrect HSS tariff code will be entered. I am aware that there may be customs charges/import duties payable by the buyer. Any customer from outside the UK should make themselves aware of any fees that may be liable before ordering from me. It has been suggested recently that I should be sending overseas orders with incorrectly filled in customs declarations to avoid duties. This is not something I’m prepared to do. I am happy to send orders to UK addresses for forwarding to overseas destinations but please note that responsibility for losses/breakages by the postal service will only be liable from me to the address on the envelope.
Postage and Packing
Postage prices are per order and are based on total goods value so that they are insured for the cost of replacement. Smaller orders to the UK will be sent 2nd class, larger orders will be sent Tracked 48. Overseas postage is at cost.
I am mindful of the ever increasing costs of postage and I try to only charge what is necessary. Given the growing disparity between the costs of sending items by either letter or large letter the postage rate for small orders with goods value of no more than £30 will vary depending on what size envelope or box they can fit in. I will advise when I receive your order via email whether the letter or large letter rate listed below applies. It will mostly be small quantities of etches only that can be sent out by letter. Any order containing castings or 3D prints will have to be sent by large letter.
Postage Rates
- Orders with a goods total of no more than £30 (letter) – £1.50 – Small quantity of etches only
- Orders with a goods total of no more than £30 (large letter) – £2.15
- Orders with a total goods value of over £30 – £3.30
- Overseas postage is at cost and payment must be in Pounds Stirling. Posting costs will be provided when ordering.
Large orders may be sent Special Delivery at my discretion to ensure they are adequately insured against loss/damage with the additonal postage cost above the £3.30 standard rate above covered by me.
Orders will be collected by our postman so I will try to dispatch orders the day after payment.
