S Scale

The following are all items currently available in S Scale. they are redrawn and resized from the 4mm scale artwork and etched on 0.012” brass. These are not just straight enlargements. They are all available to order only.

Wagon Underframes

• SB.13 BR 16’6” x 9’ Morton brake – Welded body – £15

For 16T welded 1/108 type minerals. Tailored to fit the Alan Gibson whitemetal body available from the S Scale society. 

• SB.16 BR 16’6″ x 9′ Independent brake – Welded body – £19.50

For early 16T welded minerals built with independent brakes. Diagrams 1/102 (with BR W-Irons), 1/104, 1/106, etc. Tailored to fit the Alan Gibson whitemetal body available from the S Scale society. 

• SB.32 17’6” x 9’ Morton Brake Wagon Chassis – £22

For grouping era vans, conflats, opens, etc. Caters for both vacuum braked and unfitted versions. Also includes GWR ratchet type brake lever guards. Specification is as per the 4mm chassis (B.32).

• SB.51 17’6” x 10’ LMS Clasp Brake Wagon Chassis – £26

For Vans, Opens, Shocopens, Conflats, etc. Specification is as per the 4mm chassis (B.51 & B.52) and includes both RCH and BR type axleguards.

• SB.61 17’6” x 10’ LNE Clasp Brake Wagon Chassis – £26

For Vans, Opens, Shocopens, Conflats, etc. Specification is as per the 4mm chassis (B.61) and includes both RCH and BR type axleguards.

Wagon Bodies

• SC.31 16T Welded Mineral Body – With Top Side Doors – £32
• SC.31A 16T Welded Mineral Body – No Top Side Doors – £32

Etched 16T welded mineral body kits designed to go with the Rumney Models underframes listed above. Kit SC.31 is suitable for use with SB.13, SC.31A is suitable for use with both SB.13 and SB.16. Also includes monkey tails for Independent brake wagons. The kit was test built in 4mm scale where it was found to be tricky but buildable. It should be easier in S scale.
